Departure & Return / for Classical Tour of Greece: Traveler pickup/ drop off is offered to your hotel/ apartment in Athens center or Piraeus Port, at the arranged time of your tour departure or your tour return. Please do not hesitate to request another pick up/ drop off location.
Starting Time: We suggest that the tour starts at 8:00 am or earlier in summer time. If for any reason this is not convenient, you can adjust the time according to your needs. The tour starts with a convenient pickup from your location and takes you via Corinth Canal to Peloponnese and then via Bridge Rio Antirio to Central Greece and Thessalia.

CLASSICAL TOUR OF GREECE HIGHLIGHTS
1st Day
We will drive to Peloponnese via Corinth Canal (short stop), visit the sites of Ancient Corinth, Acropolis of Mycenae (Agamemnon Palace & Atreus Tomb), continue to Picturesque Nafplion for Lunch. Depart for Epidaurus and visit Asclepius (God of Medicine) hilling center & Theater (best preserved theater in classical times). At evening we will drive to Ancient Olympia for overnight.
2nd Day
After Breakfast, we will visit the archaeological site, where you will have the opportunity to see the original stadium of the Olympic Games and the sanctuary of God Zeus, among several other structures and archaeological remains. Visit the Archaeological Museum as well as the Museum of the Olympic Games that took place in 776 BC. Later we will cross Corinthian bay via new bridge to central Greece and drive to Mount Parnassus. Overnight in Delphi
3rd Day
Visit Delphi, one of the most significant archaeological sites in Greece. Highlights include the temple of God Apollo with the renowned ancient oracle (the priestess Pythia would deliver her prophecies to people travelling from all over the ancient world to consult her), the stadium where the Pythian Games were held every four years and an ancient theatre that is still used occasionally and the Delphi Museum. Depart for Meteora. Overnight under the imposing Rocks in the village of Kastraki.
4th Day
In the morning we will visit Meteora, a series of 24 Greek Orthodox monasteries that are spectacularly perched on top of rocky pinnacles that rise over 400m. The name Meteora means ‘suspended in the air’. The monasteries flourished until the 17th century, but only 6 survive today. Aghios Stephanos, Aghia Trias, Varlaam and Grand Meteoron are those that still host religious communities and are accessible by staircases cut into the gigantic rock formations. Return to Athens via Thermopylae
